External Application Integration

External application integration is so easy with Advanced Business Manager because it’s an open source SQL Server based accounting engine.

If you are trying to export master file information from your accounting database into an external application, this can be done via SL Script and can be scheduled to run at pre-determined intervals.

When transactions need to be posted back into the accounting engine, this can be easily done using the transaction OCX.  The OCX holds all the information required to post each different type of transaction and seamlessly imports these according to the same transaction rules as entering them manually into the database, so a consistent result is achieved.

Advanced Business Manager allows programmers to drop their own programs into the accounting engine and they can be run seamlessly from within the package, so they look like they are part of the accounting engine.

Custom fields can be added to the database and calculated fields can be added to transactions or master file records within the system.  This allows us to make sure your system is uniquely modified to suit the business requirements.

Another feature designed with programmers in mind is the ability to trigger these third party programs on events within the system such as when adding a new masterfile or transaction record.
